A commission from Swiss publisher Gabrielle Capelli to produce a book about GTF created a challenge: how to present old work in a new way?
Copies of every past print project were laid out on the floor of a hired film studio and a purpose-built copy camera was rolled across the work. This allowed layout decisions to be made through the camera lens. Once the shots had been taken, the design process was essentially reduced to arranging the images in the right sequence – a relatively easy task.
