Homer is a fine jewellery and accessories line founded by musician Frank Ocean. The launch collection evokes both pop and luxury – crafted in Italy and featuring brightly coloured enamels and lab-grown diamonds set in pure silver or 18-carat gold. Working closely with Frank and his in-house team, GTF developed a complete brand identity, developing and sourcing bespoke packaging, with key motifs from the identity playfully integrated throughout the collection itself.
The packaging combines cast aluminium cases, inlaid with jewellery-specific moulded silicone. Each piece is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, complete with a dedicated and traceable holographic QR code. The cases are housed in flat-packed sleeves and vivid fluorescent green boxes, shipped in robust e-commerce outers of the same vibrant hue.
Homer was launched online in the autumn of 2022, alongside a physical store in New York’s jewellery district. In 2025, additional stores were opened in London and Los Angeles. The packaging became an integral part of the overall store environment, featuring an active, vivid green wall of packaging.
‘I think there’s something peaceful and high-tech about the natural world – I use green a lot. There’s an interesting interplay there, because green is the stem of a flower, and all colours work with it.’ Frank Ocean
